The Outpost Motel 2024 Accommodations and Rates

Our Motel Rooms have knotty pine walls, hardwood floors, and spectacular views of Lake Superior, giving them the rustic feel of a cabin on the lake. All rooms have private bathrooms and in-room coffee makers. They have small TVs that receive six stations via satellite. Rooms are available with one queen size bed, two single beds, or two queen size beds. All rooms are non-smoking.

Our Kitchenette Suites include a living room, kitchen area, one or two bedrooms, and a private bath for each bedroom. Bedrooms have one queen size bed, and living rooms have sleeper sofas. Kitchens are fully equipped with stove, sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and cooking and serving utensils. All kitchenettes have lake views, and all are non-smoking.

Our Loft Apartment is an upstairs apartment in a separate building with a beautiful lake view out the front and a forest view out back. It has one bedroom with two queen size beds. The other room is a living/dining room with kitchen facilities along one side. The kitchen is fully equipped. The loft apartment is a non-smoking unit.

Please note that The Outpost Motel is pet free. No, we do not allow pets to "stay in the vehicle".

Cancellations and Early Check Outs:

Due to an increase in "No Shows" please note that our policy will be strictly enforced. If you must cancel your reservation, please give us as much advance notice as possible. On reservations for our Kitchenette Suites or the Loft Apartment, we require a minimum of SEVEN DAYS notice of cancellation. On motel rooms without kitchens you must provide a minimum of a 48 HOUR notice of cancellation. If you do not provide the required notice, your credit card will be charged for one night stay for non-kitchen rooms, two night stay for all kitchen rooms, plus tax. Shorter (or no) notice will result in an automatic charge of one/two night(s) plus tax based upon room style.

Please remember that you will be charged for the number of nights you reserve, whether or not you stay all the nights. There is no credit for early departure.

Minimum Stays:

Sometimes you want to stay, but you don't need two nights. No problem! Our standard queen rooms, our two twin bed room, and our two queen bed room allow for one night stays.
We require a two night minimum stay on our Kitchenette and Loft Rooms. This includes our One Bedroom Kitchenette Suite, our Two Bedroom/Two Bathroom Kitchenette Suite, and our Loft Apartment.
